Shona reports on the Book Group meeting on Thursday 30 April:

We had a lovely catch up on Thursday and discussed our two books:

The Dead of Appin by Allan Martin

It was an easy and enjoyable read. We thought it was slightly far fetched at times and a few inconsistencies but happy to read more of his books. It was given 3.5/5

The Reading List by Sara Nisha Adams

It was heart warming but realistic and covered a number of family issues . It’s unusual but enjoyable to read a book about books. It was given 5/5

For next month we have chosen either:

The Corfe Castle Murders by Rachel McLean    and/or

Death in Tallinn  by Allan Martin
