Welcome to Judith Macleod

At this morning’s service we welcomed Judith Macleod who is currently in her second year at Highland Theological College where she is training for the Church of Scotland ministry. ‘I’m absolutely loving it,’ she says.  Judith will be part of Hilton Church on a student placement for the next sixth months.

She is also working as a ‘programme co-ordinator’ with Eco Congregation Scotland, a charity which works alongside churches of different denominations in Scotland, supporting them in their care for the environment.  She is currently working with the local Presbytery to arrange a series of events in Inverness during the COP26 (the United Nations Climate Change Conference)   which will be held in Glasgow later this autumn.

Judith has spent most of her life in Inverness since the age of 5. She worked as a teacher, and is married to Calum who was with her this morning. They have a 21-year-old son.
