Hilton Golf Challenge report

The Hilton Golf Challenge played at Nairn Golf Club on Friday evening proved to be a great success, especially if your surname happened to be Ross.

Sandaidh Ross had the longest men’s drive at an astonishing 324 yards, while Mairi Ross won the prize for the women’s longest drive. Iain Ross was runner up in the tournament, and the winners prize, the Lloyd Memorial trophy was won by Cian Ross.

Other prize winners were Geordo Thomson, Shona MacPherson, Chris Watt and Rachel Lamont. We shared a lovely meal together in the clubhouse afterwards. It was good to be playing golf again together after missing a year because of the pandemic.
