Garden Update from Duncan
Having asked for volunteers to help with some gardening this morning, my heart sank when I saw the weather! I turned up just in case anyone came along, but by 9.30am it was clear that common sense had prevailed! The Lighthouse garden is in pretty good shape. If anyone would like to volunteer for some gardening, there is a little bit of weeding required on the paths and at the edge of the borders. If anyone is feeling particularly adventurous, it’s possible that some of the bigger bushes might benefit from a bit of pruning, but I’m not personally knowledgeable enough about these matters! If any weeds, could be deposited in one of the brown bins, that would be fantastic. We will perhaps organise a major works night in later May to finish off any other gardening tasks around the building. Thank you to everyone who has helped so far. It’s made a great difference.
